The Rocky Mountain Communities Board of Directors is made up of community and business leaders dedicated to sustaining and expanding our mission: To develop, own and manage affordable housing and provide support services to help individuals succeed in life.

Gary Dominguez
Gary DominguezBoard Chair
Gary Dominguez joined Rocky Mountain Communities Board of Directors in 2011 with over 25 years of Construction Management experience. Currently he serves as the Construction Services Specialist for the Colorado Housing and Finance Authority (CHFA), working within the Asset Management and Commercial Lending Divisions to underwrite projects for various loan programs and then monitor the construction processes through close-out. At CHFA, Mr. Dominguez offers his expertise in the review of physical conditions and compliance for existing real estate assets operating under tax-credit and other government loan programs. For the Low Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) program, he reviews development budgets and Enterprise Green Communities compliance during the application award stage. He also serves on the Planning Committee for Colorado Housing Now, and is chair of the Program committee.
Patrick Wieland
Patrick WielandBoard Vice Chair
Patrick Wieland was elected to the RMC Board of Directors in October 2012. Mr. Weiland is the CEO of The Essentials Company, specializing in Staffing, Recruiting, PEO, Business Consulting, among other needs for businesses. Mr. Wieland sat on the Board of Directors for a nonprofit named Open Fairways for several years and held several positions all around fundraising and is also involved with the Veterans Passport to Hope, leading a committee to create the 1st annual Veterans Passport to Hope Golf Tournament. Mr. Wieland feels that it is very important to give back to his community and help all of those around him where he can, whether it be through sharing the causes mission and story or helping raise funds for that organization to support their program needs.
Darin Romine

Darin Romine was elected to the Board of Directors in June 2014. Mr. Romine is the Finance Manager for Flex Leasing Power and Service, which offers both direct-purchase and leasing programs for oil producers that seek reliable remote power for site operations. He also works as the Director for the Denver Curling Club whose mission is to develop programs and raise awareness by offering opportunities for youth, the disabled, adult, senior, and local businesses to learn the game of curling and refine their skills of leadership, teamwork, sportsmanship and communication.
R. Todd Crowley
R. Todd CrowleyPast Chair
R. Todd Crowley has been involved with Rocky Mountain Communities since 2010. He currently serves on the Property Committee and Governance Committee. Mr. Crowley has over 20 years experience in banking and mortgage lending, with a focus on affordable housing finance. He was instrumental in designing several affordable housing and down payment assistance programs that have served thousands of families. Mr. Crowley is currently Senior Vice President of Credit/Loan Administration for ANB Bank.
Grant Bennett
Grant BennettCo-Chair, Property Committee
Grant Bennett joined the Board of Directors for Rocky Mountain Communities in October 2012 and serves on the Finance and Property committees. He is the Principal and Founder of Proximity Green, a real estate development, management and consulting firm focused on comprehensive real estate practices managing to a triple bottom line, working primarily on the front range of Colorado. Mr. Bennett previously worked for the Denver Urban Renewal Authority, helping manage DURA’s urban renewal activities and Tax Increment Financing assistance for redevelopment of blighted areas, including complex legal documents, financial investments, contract negotiations and relationship management with City departments and neighborhood groups to meet these challenges. Mr. Bennett is an active member of the Urban Land Institute, is a licensed Professional Engineer, and holds a Bachelors of Science in Civil Engineering from Colorado State University.
Angel Hurtado
Angel HurtadoChair, Resident Programs & Services Committee
Angel Hurtado was elected to serve on the Board of Directors in October 2012. Ms. Hurtado currently works with Volunteers of America as the Associate Division Director in Housing Support Services,
where her passion for serving the needs of the residents is put to use every day. She is an avid supporter of the continuum of care, helping to get chronically homeless individuals off the street and into a housing environment that is supportive for their needs.
Daniél (Dani) Kimlinger
Daniél (Dani) KimlingerCo-Chair, Fundraising Committee
Dr. Daniél (Dani) Kimlinger serves as the Human Resources and Organizational Psychology Leader for MINES and Associates. Dr. Kimlinger has experience in workplace investigations, organizational assessments and interventions, strategic planning, interviewing, professional development, training, coaching, conflict resolution, human resources consulting and breakthrough projects. Dr. Kimlinger completed the Executive Leadership Program at Cornell University and completed her Ph.D. in the school of Business Psychology in Organizational Leadership at The Chicago School of Professional Psychology
James Roy II
James Roy IICo-Chair, Fundraising Committee
James Roy II was elected to serve on the Board of Directors in January 2016. Mr. Roy is the Founder of Urbanity Advisors, a consulting firm that specializes in urban planning and real estate development research. He is also working on a dual masters program, which includes a MURP (Master in Urban & Regional Planning) and a MBA (Master of Business Administration) at the University of Colorado Denver.
