Community Information
Arroyo Village is a low-rise 130-unit community offering 1-3 bedroom apartments. Built in 2019, the building has a vibrant and colorful exterior. We partner our affordable housing community with The Delores Project extended stay shelter for adult women, transgender, and nonbinary individuals. Arroyo was developed with a trauma-informed design and won the Jack Kemp excellence in affordable and workforce housing awards which recognizes exemplary developments that demonstrate creativity in expanding housing opportunities. Arroyo has an indoor parking garage and overlooks the Knox court Light Rail station and the Paco Sanchez Skatepark.
Neighborhood Information
West Colfax boasts a rich and diverse history as one of Denver’s most culturally vibrant neighborhoods. Over a century ago, it emerged as a thriving residential and commercial hub. In the 1940s, West Colfax Avenue became part of U.S. Highway 40, transforming into a bustling 26-mile corridor filled with entertainment and businesses, many of which remain today. This legacy of evolution continues, making West Colfax one of Denver’s most dynamic neighborhoods.
